Obituary for Steven William Burr

Steven “Steve” William Burr age 57, (in his eyes always 28), born in Provo Utah on October 28th 1963, died suddenly in the early morning on Wednesday December 9th 2020. Steve was a resident of Springville, Utah.

Steve first met the love of his life when he was 14 years old, as Steve always said, "I waited 25 years for you Lisa". Steve and Lisa were married for 19 years, on November 23rd 2001 in Provo Utah. They recently took the trip of their dreams. With no plan they hit the open road, everyone knowing Steve knew there was no need for maps, which lead to them getting lost in Montana thinking they were in Idaho. The memories are cherished and the love they share is endless.

Steve was a proud employee at Mcwane Ductile Utah formally known as Pacific State Cast Iron Pipe Company, going on 21 years. Each and every one of them became family. Steve always enjoyed sharing all the crazy, fun, and eventful stories between him and his coworkers. Steve was known for all his sayings, "Dave's not here", "your ugly and your mother dresses you funny", "don't sweat the small s$%#.... everything is small s$%#". Steve enjoyed camping, fishing at Schofield, rocking out to too LOUD music, and playing cards with his wife. He was a life-long Steelers fan, but the main joy and light of his life was being with his grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his wife Lisa Burr; his siblings, Marilyn, Kari, Patrick; his children, Cody, Nikki, Sharlee, Nikki k, Casey, Jammi, Jessi, Jessica; grandchildren, JessLynn, Alec, Makayla (peanut), Mylee (little bit), Rylee (No-No), Hopelynn (Dewey), Diesel, Aaliyah, Rosalie, Melody, Chloe, Kadee, and the arrival of Luca Ray William (Gabriel); best friend Gregg Flemming, (Cindy). Steve was reunited with his parents, Alma Steven Burr, Roberta Jean (Luke); brothers, Mike, Robert; grandchildren, four angel babies.

A Celebration Of Life will be held on December 19, 2020 at 12 noon at Spring Creek Mortuary, 737 North Main Street, Springville, Utah, 84663, with a visitation an hour prior. Services will also be live-streamed on the Spring Creek Utah County Mortuary Facebook page for those unable to attend.

The family would love for you to come and share a story or a memory. Please honor Steve by wearing his favorite team (Steelers), or the colors black or yellow, or a band t-shirt. " Rock on "
